Contract manager Reconstruction ‘Amstelveen line’

Manager of plan development phase, pre-procurement stages & procurement phase of the upgrade and reconstruction of the current ‘Amstelveen line’ (connecting Amsterdam to Amstelveen) to a high-grade light rail connection. 

The scope of the project includes:

• Overpass/tunnel constructions for the locations Sportlaan, Zonnestein and Rembrandtweg and modifications to existing structures;

• Renewal of superstructure (track and catenary (incl. a new tail-track)).

• Realization of stations (platforms, architectural outfitting and installations)

• Realization of (ICT) systems

• Rail and Road infrastructure (both temporary and definitive)

The complexity of the project lies mainly in the environment (nuisance for traffic, public transport & residents: the aim is to build with minimal disruption to both the residents, public transport and the road traffic) & system integration.
